Bernadette Wright ASKMATTWashington, D.C. area

Helps clients to assess, design, and improve their programs and strategies, using program evaluation and Strategic Knowledge Mapping. She is experienced with a broad range of quantitative and qualitative research methods, such as surveys, focus groups, interviews, structured observation, and literature reviews. Her research experience includes studies in health care/human services, aging and disability, education/STEM, and race relations issues. She has written over 50 publicly available client reports/peer-reviewed papers and has presented at about 50 national and local conferences/workshops.

Before starting her own company, Dr. Wright was Consultant/Senior Associate at The Lewin Group, where she led research for or managed 20 projects for government, non-profit, and business clients in health and human services. Before that, she was Policy Research Analyst at AARP Public Policy Institute, where she provided policy analysis and research to inform AARP strategies and public dialogue on community living and long-term services and supports.

She is an active member of American Evaluation Association (Webmaster of the STEM Education and Training Topical Interest Group) and its affiliate, Washington Evaluators (past board member). She earned her PhD in Public Policy/Program Evaluation from the University of Maryland in 2002.
